Friday 23 – And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.

North, South, East and West, the whole World is in your hands Lord. Let us shout from the roof tops and bring the Good news to everyone who is willing to hear it. Bless those who preach, teach, heal, build, reconcile, bring hope, that their message may be the means of salvation. Grant that your church may grow and increase in the knowledge of your divine love.

Thursday 22 – Isaiah 44.3 For I pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants

From the cradle to the grave Lord you are with us. You have provided us with family and friends, food, shelter and the love of parents. You have blessed us with all we require. Give us the spirit of the living God. To quench our thirst, and to share it with all of our families, all over the world.

Amen

Messy Church

We have times for fun, worship and friendship for preschool children and parents or carers on Tuesdays.  We’re back on Tuesday 27 August  from 1 – 2.45 pm.

This is a chance for children to learn through play and crafts, work together as they are able and enjoy songs and stories connected with faith. Parents and carers have a chance to play with their children and talk to each other over tea and cakes and worship with their children. It is open to all preschool children and parents/carers. Hope to see you there.

Wednesday 21 – Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Sometimes Lord Things just get too much for us and we fall at the first hurdle. Strengthen and renew us. Care for us so that our racing thoughts don’t go astray and out of focus. We lay our burdens at your feet and leave them there in exchange for Peace.

Amen.

Tuesday 20 – Psalm 41:3 The Lord sustains him on his sickbed; in his illness you restore him to full health.

Lord we ask that you are with all those who are attending clinics or are in hospital, today. Be with them and their families. Keep them from the anxiety that is within them. Aid their recovery with the skill of the doctors and nursing staff and return them to good health where possible.

Amen

Monday 19 – Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Blessed Lord we thank you that you are in control of our lives and give us strength to do our daily tasks. We thank you that you can see what we do and pray that we do it to the best of our abilities. Seeking help out if we should need it. Prioritising things but remembering we still need to do all things, however mundane they should be. Thank you for being with us, every step of the way.

Amen
